Principal Secretary Hon. Susan Mangéni was privileged to grace the launch of the  Manufacturing Priority Agenda 2026, themed Turbocharging the economy through the manufacturing sector to spur all- inclusive economic transformation. This year’s  priority agenda focuses on 4 pillars: Global competitiveness, Export- Led Industrialization, MSMEs development and Agriculture for Industry . As a government she affirmed their commitment in unlocking the great potential that our country has in the manufacturing sector through deliberate and targeted investment in infrastructural expansion- railways, road networks and enhancing the efficiency at the ports. In the MSME Space we continue investing early in our young population through such initiatives like NYOTA that presents a pipeline for the nurturing and growth of the next level of manufacturers in our economy. Our increased efforts in development of Key priority values chains under BETA demonstrates our industrialization intent and aspiration to redirect our economy towards the manufacturing outputs.
