Fostering Collaboration to Empower Entrepreneurs and Support Small Businesses

The PS for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development, Hon. Susan Mange’eni hosted the State house Deputy Spokesperson Gabriel Muthuma to discuss ways of fostering collaboration to empower entrepreneurs, support small businesses, and ensure access to opportunities that drive economic resilience and strengthen MSMEs in Kenya.

The meeting also discussed the need to raise awareness on how the Hustler Fund Bridge Loan will address the pressing need for quick access to affordable credit, enabling Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to bridge financial gaps and sustain their operations effectively.

The Hustler Fund Bridge loan and the Start-Up Bill will support Kenya's growing start-up ecosystem, where approximately 70% of ventures fail within the first three years. The bill aims to foster innovation, attract talent, and bring capital to Kenya by creating a favorable environment with appropriate incentives for start-ups in Kenya.
