Hustler Fund Multi-stakeholder Meeting

Ahead of Hustler Fund’s second anniversary, the Principal Secretary joined the Cabinet Secretary in a critical multi-stakeholder meeting. The gathering underscored the Hustler Fund's commitment of financial inclusion. By fostering a vibrant ecosystem for small businesses and self-employed individuals, the fund is enabling countless Kenyans to actively pursue financial independence and resilience.

Since its inception, the Fund has managed to touch the lives of millions, sparking a movement of economic empowerment from the grassroots up as outlined in the Bottom-Up Agenda.

Discussions included plans on introducing bridge product that is meant to facilitate the entry and integration of hustler fund customers into the mainstream financial institutions and credit scoring with the aim of ensuring the fund's sustainability and continued alignment with national economic priorities.

The multi-stakeholder meeting was attended by representative from president Economic Council, Government Economic Advisor, David Ndii, The Principal secretary for Investment and promotion, Abubakar Hassan and representatives from telcos and financial institutions
