Indian Africa Business Conclave

The PS for MSMEs Development Hon Susan Mang'eni arrived in New Delhi India today for a three day Indian Africa business conclave organized  by the Confederation of Indian Industries; and was received by the Kenyan High Commissioner to India  Amb. Peter Manyiri. 

India is an MSME driven economy with appropriate technology and machinery for MSMEs in the manufacturing sector, hence presenting massive opportunities for partnership with Kenyan MSMEs to build their capabilities to spur the growth of our manufacturing sector. 

The Conclave has attracted participation from over 40 African countries with strong delegation of policy makers and business leaders to interact and explore partnerships with the  leading Indian industries in manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, finance, MSMEs, technology, agriculture and other global value chains. 

Hon. Susan Mang'eni will be  making a presentation on "Promoting quality standards for achieving high value manufacturing  excellence in Africa."
She will also be having bilateral engagements on the sidelines with targeted industrial sector leaders to explore partnership opportunities  on common user manufacturing facilities to enable our MSMEs to gain entry into the manufacturing sector and  power up BETA.
