Mainstreaming the Social Health Insurance Fund

The State department for Micro , Small and Medium Enterprise( MSME) Permanent secretary Hon. Susan Mang’eni today hosted her Medical Services counterpart Harry Mutai to discuss areas of collaboration  in mainstreaming the new Social Health Insurance Fund  to the hustlers.

The new Insurance Scheme will be rolled out beginning July this year and is expected to provide a cover to all Kenyans.

Hustler Fund shall provide credit opportunities to its beneficiaries to pay upfront not only to enable universal access to healthcare but also as a way of de-risking their enterprises.
