Fostering Inclusive Development through Gender Equity

Attending the 68th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68) in New York. The discussions are centered on how to expedite the realization of gender equity and empowerment of women and girls through targeted measures addressing poverty, enhancing institutional capacity and fostering financing mechanisms underscored by a gender-sensitive approach.

This session is profoundly significant as it provides a forum with prospects for fostering international cooperation and dialogue to drive meaningful progress in the realm of gender equity and women's empowerment. It also provides a unique opportunity of exploring how the principles and objectives being deliberated upon can directly impact the MSME sector in Kenya. By promoting inclusive policies and initiatives that enable women-owned and operated businesses to thrive, it contributes to the broader economic growth and social development agenda.
