Kakamega International Investment Conference

Principal Secretary Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Hon. Susan Mang'eni hosted Kakamega County CEC - Finance and Planning, CPA Livingstone Imbayi and Ms. Elizabeth Asichi, CEO-Kakamega County Investment Corporation.
They engaged on a possible collaboration towards the upcoming  Kakamega International Investment Conference scheduled for 19th - 22nd March 2024, bearing in mind the potential opportunities for partnerships, financing, knowledge, technology sharing and transfer, as well as market linkages for MSMEs.

The event will bring together close to two thousand participants across the globe. Main sales sectors of the conference will be agriculture, healthcare and social development among many others with the theme dubbed as 'Opening counties as the new frontier for investment and development.'

The Principal Secretary mentioned that the State Department for MSMEs Development shall support the conference and also provide an opportunity for the agencies under the department to participate in the conference and showcase their various programs and opportunities for the investors and Kenyans in general.
