Unilever Women Entrepreneurs

Hon. Susan Mang’eni was graced to attend the graduation ceremony of Women Entrepreneurs, the first cohort of Emerge a Unilever Supplier Acceleration program.

She stated that the greatest lesson of the recent global shocks including Corona pandemic, geo-political tensions and historical droughts, was the need to diversify supply chains and systems. With the MD’s assurance to have committed 1 billion to localize their supplies to women led enterprises is a pointer to a ready market that our women in business should endeavor to access, Hon. Susan Mang’eni commended the Unilever leadership, the East Africa MD Luck

She also retaliated that The State Department of MSMEs Development commitment to fostering partnerships and networks that creates market linkages and called upon other industrial leaders and Multinationals Corporations to take cue from the Unilever and develop support systems for women and youth led enterprises.
