The total duration of the consultant’s assignment is scheduled for up to 48 months. The Implementation consultant shall undertake the following activities in collaboration with Project Implementation Unit (PIU):

I. Assist PIU in the day-to-day operation of the C4E (incl. financial management)

II. Elaborating the project details and develop the project operation manual;

III. Support in the preparation of project reports;

IV. Provide advisory and assist in designing and implementing the Tender Processes for an online platform, the project voucher system, the makers Space (common user facility);

V. Developing an M&E framework for the Project, including baseline and tracer studies;

VI. Monitoring of the implementation of environmental and social matters as well as the application of health and safety standards;

VII. Develop the criteria for accreditation for service/providers and management;

VIII. Advising SDMSMEs on the best interventions to implement and sustain the Project from time to time;

IX. Close collaborations/coordination with German Technical Cooperation (TC) that is further supporting the Project through complementary TC measures, as well as other relevant actors in Kenya;
