National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement

The State Department for MSMEs hosted World Bank Kenya mission on the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) project, to finalize on the effectiveness ahead of the project roll out this year. The NYOTA project is focused on enhancing employability of the Youth through skilling, entrepreneurship development, financing and promoting a culture of saving to de-risk their livelihoods. 

NYOTA is a multi-agency project involving State departments of Youth, Labor and and MSMEs development. The State department of MSMEs development shall be leading the components on entrepreneurship development as well as hosting an end to end system: a one stop market place to  facilitate linkages to various opportunities for scalability and sustainability of the project to increase employment of the youth. Our commitment is to build a future where our youth are equipped, empowered, and ready to thrive in a dynamic economy.
