Management of Lake Victoria North Water Works Development Agency

Earlier today, PS Hon. Susan Mangeni accompanied CS Hon. Wycliffe Oparanya in a discussion with the management of Lake Victoria North Water Works Development Agency, led by  Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Joel Wamalwa at  NSSF Building, Nairobi.

The talks centred on the development of Water infrastructure in Kakamega County where Bukura-Butere-Khwisero Water supply Project is dominated.

The  CS called the Agency to implement it's mandate of undertaking the development, maintenance and management of the public water works within its areas of jurisdiction as outlined in the Fourth Medium Term Plan (MTP IV) 2023-2027 and the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), which is geared towards economic turnaround and inclusive growth through a value chain approach.

The CEO reitariated his commitment to ensuring that every part of the area of coverage gets access to clean water and good sanitation services.
