43rd Sectoral Council on Trade, Industry, Finance and Investment

Principal Secretary MSME attended the ongoing 43rd Sectoral Council on Trade, Industry, Finance and Investment (SCTIFI) in Arusha, Tanzania. 

The promotion of Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises is a key element in the full integration of the East African Community to increase regional market linkages and optimize market access by our MSMEs to the expanded EAC Market that has a population of over 300M people.

The State Department For MSMEs is committed to negotiations that can facilitate trade within the region; while implementing Simplified Trade Regimes (STR) for small-scale cross border traders; and establishing convenient buyer-seller platforms for our MSMEs.
